Accordingly, the Dossier for adjusting the Hai Phong City Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, has been elaborately, scientifically, logically and of high quality built.
The content ensures consistency, synchronization and fully reflects the policy and urgent requirements of development with an expanded space to maximize advantages and effectively exploit the potential of Hai Phong city (new) after the merger between Hai Phong city (old) and Hai Duong province (old).
Bac Ninh province is a province bordering Hai Phong city in the new development phase, with the formation of Gia Binh International Airport and functional zones will spread development to provinces and cities in the region and the whole country as well as reaching out to the region and the world.
Therefore, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province proposed that the People's Committee of Hai Phong city direct the planning adjustment agency to review and supplement the development orientations for connecting space with Bac Ninh province through the air, rail, road system and the inland waterway system with open-ended linkage dynamic works contributing to completing synchronous and modern infrastructure to promote comprehensive development in all fields.
Regarding the transportation system connecting to Hai Phong city, in addition to Ring Road 4, National Highway 38 also has provincial roads and provincial roads connecting such as DT283, DT284, TL276, TL285,... and airport connection axes (cross-center axis), main urban axis of Nam Song Duong urban area, sub-area No. 2; and at the same time propose to update and supplement the section connecting National Highway 37 (Chi Linh ward, Hai Phong city) with DT.299D through Dong Viet bridge, Bac Ninh province into the Traffic Network Development Plan diagram in the Dossier adjusting the Planning of Hai Phong city for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050.
