The investment project to build Ring Road 1, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section, has its starting point at the intersection with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau; the ending point at Voi Phuc traffic junction.
The total length of the route is about 2,274km, with a cross-section scale of 50m.
Total investment of more than 7,210 billion VND. Project implementation period from 2018 to 2026.
The project is invested to complete the entire route according to the plan, with the main items including: Site clearance; foundation, road surface, intersection, drainage, technical trench system, lighting, green trees, sidewalks, traffic organization and relocation of underground and above-ground works within the investment scope.
According to records, in addition to the road item, the construction of 2 overpasses on the route (Lang Ha - Giang Vo intersection and Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection) has also been implemented by the contractor in the past time.
However, the construction of the overpass at Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection is still problematic, because the area between piers T3 and T4 of the overpass is the intersection with S3 station belonging to urban railway line No. 5 Van Cao - Hoa Lac.
At the meeting on July 26, the Hanoi Department of Construction requested the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board to direct contractors to complete the fence items of S3 station within the intersection before August 5, 2026. At the same time, units urgently complete procedures to organize the transportation of materials and waste soil 24/24 hours.
For the Nguyen Chi Thanh intersection overpass project, the investor is required to review and supplement construction measures, build detailed progress weekly; strive to complete concrete pouring of the main span structure before December 15 and open the project to traffic before December 31, 2026.
