Accordingly, implementing Hai Phong's urban embellishment policy, Do Son Ward People's Committee is implementing the Project to clear ground, demolish old 5-story apartment buildings and build technical infrastructure works in alley 75 Ly Thanh Tong. The project has a total recovered area of 413.1 m2, involving one organization and 38 households and individuals. This is an important project to replace the degraded apartment building, which poses a potential safety risk. At the same time, it contributes to completing technical infrastructure, improving the living environment and urban appearance in the ward.
At the conference, opinions and recommendations were listened to and answered specifically by the leaders of Do Son ward, and at the same time received to review and adjust the plan to ensure compliance with regulations and the legitimate rights of the people. Through dialogue, the majority of households basically agreed and supported the policy of project implementation and wished to soon be arranged for stable new accommodation, especially before the 2026 rainy and storm season.
For unlicensed construction projects on an area of more than 2,600 m2, the Ward People's Committee will summarize and report to the city level to consider appropriate support mechanisms for households. In case it is approved and the city arranges early relocation, the project implementation will be even more thuận lợi, ensuring the rights and stabilizing the lives of the people.
In the coming time, Do Son Ward People's Committee will continue to direct relevant units to urgently complete the compensation and support plan, submit it to competent authorities for appraisal and approval according to regulations; and at the same time coordinate to accelerate the progress of resettlement arrangement, ensuring stable life for affected households.
Do Son Ward People's Committee requests relevant households and individuals to continue to closely coordinate, well comply with the policy of land acquisition and site clearance, contributing to the successful implementation of the project, building Do Son Ward to become increasingly civilized and modern.
Previously, during the implementation process, the Ward People's Committee directed the Construction Investment Project Management Board to organize inventory, develop compensation and support plans and conduct public posting from April 3, 2026 to April 13, 2026 at the Ward People's Committee headquarters and residential areas. The public disclosure and transparency of information has received the full attention and participation of related households.
As a result of the opinion poll, 100% of households participated in contributing opinions to the draft plan. Among them, 19 households agreed; 19 households suggested considering and clarifying some contents such as land origin, compensation and support policies for the expanded area, architectural structures, crops and other related contents.
