6/11 crew members on fishing vessel HP 90666 TS who encountered an accident in Bach Long Vi sea area were safely received by Hai Phong city functional forces and taken to Viet Tiep Hospital for timely medical care.
Immediately after successfully rescuing all 11 crew members on fishing vessel HP 90666 TS in distress in Bach Long Vi sea area, Hai Phong City Border Guard Command advised city leaders to urgently deploy a plan to receive and provide medical emergency care, in order to ensure absolute safety for the victims.
Accordingly, at dawn on May 28, functional forces brought 6/11 crew members of ship HP 90666 TS to the port of Border Guard Flotilla 38 (Border Guard Command) safely. After many hours of struggling and drifting at sea, the victims were received in a state of panic, weak health... Immediately, 6/11 crew members were taken directly to Viet Tiep Hospital by specialized vehicles to conduct comprehensive medical examinations and health recovery care. The remaining 5 crew members are in stable health and are being cared for at medical facilities in Bach Long Vi special zone (Hai Phong) and Co To special zone (Quang Ninh).

Previously, as reported, at 6:15 am on May 27, Bach Long Vi Border Guard Station received a report from Mr. Pham Van Minh (born in 1986, residing in Bach Long Vi special zone) about ship HP 90666 TS, captained by Mr. Le Ngoc Nam, with 11 people on board, traveling from Mat Rong wharf (Nam Trieu ward, Hai Phong city) to Bach Long Vi, when passing through Long Chau island area about 18 nautical miles, it encountered an accident and the ship sank.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Hai Phong City Border Guard Command mobilized 3 ships with more than 30 officers and soldiers from Bach Long Vi, Cat Ba, and Hai Doi 2 Border Guard Stations, directly commanded and notified functional forces by Colonel Tran Tan, Deputy Commander; and mobilized 2 vehicles and notified 7 other fishermen's vehicles to coordinate search and rescue. By 6:30 pm on the same day, all 11 crew members had been found and successfully rescued onto the ship safely.
Up to now, thanks to timely emergency care and medical attention, the health and psychological condition of the crew members has temporarily stabilized and is being closely monitored by doctors and nurses.
