On April 22, Roon Border Guard Station (Border Guard of Quang Binh province) said that the unit had just organized a reception, first aid and coordinated to promptly transfer a fisherman in distress at sea to a hospital.
At about 4:50 p.m. the same day, the unit received a report from fishing boat QB-33259-TS about Mr. Pham Ngoc Tan (born in 2019, residing in Quang Chau commune, Quang Trach district), a crew member on the boat, who unfortunately fell into the sea while fishing, about 7 nautical miles northeast of Roon Gate.
When the crew brought him onto the boat, Mr. Tan had unusual symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath and coughing blood.
Immediately, Roon Border Guard Station directed the Roon Border Control Station to maintain regular contact with the ship, and at the same time sent medical staff to coordinate receiving and first aid when the ship reached shore.
At 5:20 p.m. on April 22, the QB-33259-TS ship docked. The Border Control Station quickly supported the victim to return to shore, conduct initial examination and first aid and hand over to the family to take him to Bac Quang Binh General Hospital for further treatment.
Ship QB-33259-TS with a capacity of 40 CV, captained by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Quyen (born in 1972, Canh Duong commune, Quang Trach district), departed from Roon gate to fish at sea from April 16.
