On January 20, Da Nang International Airport Border Gate Police said that the unit had just received an email of thanks from Ms. T.H.D.L., a tourist on flight VN133 from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City, expressing her emotion and gratitude to the airport security control force.
Previously, on January 18, while carrying out security checks at the domestic terminal, Ms. L. accidentally lost a diamond ring at the storage tray. Because she did not detect it immediately, it was not until the plane had taken off that she realized the incident and fell into a state of anxiety and panic.
Immediately after the plane landed at Tan Son Nhat airport, Ms. L. contacted the tour guide - the person who supported the delegation to check-in at the airport to ask for help in finding lost property.
Upon receiving the information, the Commander of the Domestic Security Control Team of Da Nang airport directed officers to review and inspect the system and quickly identify the passenger's property. The diamond ring was then carefully preserved and returned to Ms. L.
In a thank-you letter sent to the airport security force, Ms. L. said that the ring is not only of great material value but also has a special spiritual meaning for her personally. Finding the property made her extremely touched.
She also thanked the collective of Team 3, Da Nang Airport Security Control Team, especially comrade Nguyen Thanh Nhan - the officer who directly discovered the lost property.
