At noon on August 31, Mr. Duong Duc Toan - Chairman of Toan Luu Commune People's Committee - said that the Toan Luu Commune Police force, soldiers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Police and local people are searching for a missing man while casting a net.
Before that, heavy rain flooded the fields. At around 8:00 a.m. on August 30, Mr. Nguyen Van Q (born in 1982, residing in Thien Thai village, Toan Luu commune) went fishing in Cau Ke area - Thien Thai village. However, he could not return late at night, so the family reported to the local authorities for search support.
After organizing a search for victims in the Cau Ke area - Thien Thai village without results, the authorities are currently expanding the search area.
