On July 5, My Son Commune People's Committee (Khanh Hoa province) said it is issuing a notice to find relatives of a newborn baby boy who was abandoned and discovered by people in the Van No. 2 area of the Tan My Irrigation system.
According to local information, on the afternoon of July 4, people in Nha Huy village discovered a newborn baby boy wrapped in a shirt, lying in the area of Van No. 2 of the Tan My Irrigation system.
Immediately after receiving the news, local authorities and functional forces were present at the scene, taking the baby to the nearest medical facility for emergency treatment and initial care.
Through examination, the baby boy is estimated to be about 1 day old, weighing 2.3kg. After first aid, he was transferred to Ninh Thuan General Hospital for continued monitoring and special care. Up to now, the baby's health has stabilized.
At the time of discovery, the child had no personal papers, left letters or any other identifying signs.
Currently, My Son Commune People's Committee has issued a notice to find the child's parents or relatives. Local authorities request individuals and organizations who know information related to the child or the case to contact My Son Commune People's Committee soon to be guided on carrying out procedures to receive the child back according to the provisions of law.
