On the afternoon of October 17, speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Chi Ne town, Lac Thuy district said that the bodies of two girls suspected of committing suicide on the Boi River had been found.
The victims were identified as N.H.D and P.T.T (both born in 2011, residing in Chi Ne town).
Accordingly, at about 1:50 a.m. the same day, some witnesses saw two figures walking on the Chi Ne town bridge.
About 10 minutes later, a "boom" sound was heard in this area, and the river surface rippled. Suspecting that someone had committed suicide, a group of teenagers arrived at the scene and discovered 2 pairs of sandals, 1 mask, and a cardboard box, with the delivery address listed as Mrs. N.T.S (grandmother of D., address in Zone 9, Chi Ne town).
Immediately afterwards, the group of teenagers went to the above address to report the incident.
At the same time, Mrs. S also could not find her granddaughter in the bedroom. When checking the room, she discovered a letter related to her granddaughter's suicide.
According to the families of the two victims, the children have not shown any unusual signs recently and have not had any conflicts with each other.
Currently, the victim's body has been handed over to the family for funeral arrangements.
