In the afternoon of July 10, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Luong The Dong - Chairman of Phu Dinh Commune People's Committee - said that the body of H.H. K, who was swept away by floodwaters, was found at about 1:30 PM on the same day.
The child's body was found in the Ban La stream area, Hoa Binh hamlet, Binh Thanh commune, about 1km from the location of the incident.
After completing the procedures, the child's body was handed over to the family for funeral arrangements," the leader informed.
Previously, as Lao Dong newspaper reported, on the afternoon of July 9, child H.H. K (born in 2014, residing in Phu Dinh commune) was unfortunately swept away by floodwaters in the Dong Phu hamlet area.
Immediately after receiving the news, local rescue forces deployed searches throughout the night.
