Body of missing young man found on Hieu River

    Quang Tri - Rescue forces found the body of a young man missing on the Hieu River.

    At noon on April 10, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police confirmed that the body of a drowning victim had just been found on the Hieu River.

    Accordingly, during the search, at 10:47 a.m. the same day, the search and rescue team discovered the body of a young man on the river, 50 meters west of Dong Ha bridge.

    The authorities are carrying out other related procedures according to the provisions of law.

    The victim was identified as L.N.Q.H (residing in Quarter 7, Ward 5, Dong Ha City).

    Previously, on the evening of April 9, the authorities discovered a number of personal items including a jacket, hat and sandal of L.N.Q.H left on Dong Ha bridge in Quarter 1 (Ward 1, Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province).

    Suspecting that the victim was drowning, the authorities organized a search and discovered the body.
