On March 4, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Binh Thuan province said that the bodies of fishermen in a basket that went missing at sea 3 days ago had been found.
The body of Mr. Dau Van N (born in 1994, residing in Binh Hung ward, Phan Thiet city) was found in the Bai Ganh sea area, in quarter 14, Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet city.
The fishermen's basket pulled Mr. N's body and brought it to shore. The authorities arrived at the scene to record the incident and hand over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.
Previously, on the evening of March 1, workers fishing on other baskets in Bai Ganh area, about 50m from Mui Ne beach, discovered that Mr. N's basket was deserted, so they reported it to the authorities and organized a search.
