Border province collects 2,600 billion VND in budget for the first 3 months of the year

Lang Son - In the first 3 months of the year, the "bean sprout" province's economy has improved a lot with a budget revenue of VND 2,666 billion.

On March 27, information from the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee said that the Provincial Party Committee had just held the 20th conference to review the results of the first quarter work and deploy key tasks for the second quarter.

Accordingly, in the first quarter of 2025, the "fence" provincial economy continued to flourish with many indicators increasing compared to the same period. The area of winter-spring planting reached over 27,000 hectares; the total number of tourists is estimated at 1.92 million, an increase of 26.2%; budget revenue reached over VND 2,666 billion, an increase of 24.8%.

Previously, according to Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu, Lang Son province's economy in 2024 will develop comprehensively, with the growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) estimated at 6.01%.

According to the leader of this province, 2024 is the first year that the province's budget revenue has reached nearly 10,000 billion VND, reaching 131% of the estimate, an increase of 25.8% over the same period.

In 2025, Lang Son sets an economic growth target (GRDP) of 7.7 - 8%; build 9 more communes meeting new rural standards; comprehensively develop the tourism industry, gradually striving to become a spearhead economic sector.
