Dong Nai province announces the arrangement of commune-level administrative units

On October 22, Dong Nai province announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of the province for the period 2023 - 2025.

Up to now, Dong Nai province has rearranged 22 commune-level administrative units in 4 districts and cities including Tan Phu district, Vinh Cuu district, Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh city, reducing 11 commune-level administrative units, from 170 communes and wards to 159 communes and wards.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and all levels and sectors to pay attention to job placement, staff reduction and policy settlement for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers affected by the arrangement and merger.

Fight against corruption, negativity and do not allow complaints and denunciations related to personnel work to arise.

For public headquarters, surplus public assets must have an effective use plan to avoid waste. The use and preservation of documents, financial and accounting books, and archived records must be in accordance with regulations. Documents must not be lost or misplaced when implementing the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.

Create favorable conditions for people, organizations and businesses to conduct transactions in newly formed administrative units after the arrangement and conversion of documents for people, agencies, units and businesses according to authority.

Also at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Vo Tan Duc - Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that Dong Nai will successfully implement the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, soon completing the goal of becoming an industrial province developing in a modern direction...

Previously, on September 28, at the 37th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai province for the 2023-2025 period was unanimously approved; Resolution No. 1194/UBTVQH15 on rearranging commune-level administrative units of Dong Nai province for the 2023-2025 period was issued, effective from November 1.

According to the project, for Bien Hoa city, merge the entire Hoa Binh ward and adjust part of Tan Phong ward to merge into Quang Vinh ward; merge the entire Thanh Binh ward, the entire Quyet Thang ward and adjust part of Tan Phong ward to merge into Trung Dung ward; merge the entire Tan Tien ward into Tan Mai ward; merge the entire Tam Hoa ward into Binh Da ward.

After the arrangement, Bien Hoa City has 25 commune-level administrative units, including 24 wards and 1 commune.

For Long Khanh City, merge the entire Xuan Trung Ward and the entire Xuan Thanh Ward into Xuan An Ward. After the arrangement, Long Khanh City has 13 commune-level administrative units, including 9 wards and 4 communes.

For Tan Phu district, merge the entire Phu Trung commune into Phu Son commune. Adjust part of Nui Tuong commune to merge into Phu Lap commune. Merge the entire Nui Tuong commune after adjustment according to regulations into Nam Cat Tien commune. After the arrangement, Tan Phu district has 16 commune-level administrative units, including 15 communes and 1 town.

For Vinh Cuu district, merge the entire Hieu Liem commune into Tri An commune. Merge the entire Binh Hoa commune into Tan Binh commune. After the arrangement, Vinh Cuu district has 10 commune-level administrative units, including 9 communes and 1 town.

After rearranging commune-level administrative units, Dong Nai province has 11 district-level administrative units, including 9 districts and 2 cities; 159 commune-level administrative units, including 117 communes, 33 wards and 9 towns.
