Proposing the Ministry of National Defence to discipline 12 soldiers

The Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee has reviewed and proposed disciplinary action against 12 violating soldiers.

On the morning of October 18, in Hanoi, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term held its 20th session.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the Political Directorate of the Vietnam People's Army, Chairman of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee - chaired the meeting.

According to VNA, at the meeting, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee reviewed and proposed disciplinary action against 12 soldiers who violated the regulations. Opinions at the meeting unanimously assessed that the violations were serious and affected the prestige of the Army.

The Central Military Commission Inspection Committee reviewed, voted and unanimously proposed that the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the Ministry of National Defence take disciplinary action against the violating soldiers.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet evaluated the opinions contributed at the meeting closely, objectively, and impartially; clearly analyzed the nature and extent of each violation and closely followed the regulations of the Party and the Army.

The proposed forms of discipline are both strict, humane and educational for the offending soldiers, and at the same time require the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee to absorb the comments contributed at the meeting; promptly complete the documents to report to the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission.

In the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee will continue to proactively advise the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission and the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee to closely lead and direct the work of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement.

Strengthening the grasp of the situation, detecting and inspecting party organizations and party members when there are signs of violations; promptly and thoroughly resolving complaints and denunciations, contributing to maintaining and improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party organizations.

Along with strictly handling violations, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet suggested continuing to do a good job of informing, educating, warning and deterring cadres and party members of agencies and units throughout the army to promptly draw lessons and contribute to preventing and combating violations.

Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet noted that in the context of preparing for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Committee needs to regularly grasp the situation, direct and guide Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels to perform well the inspection and supervision work.

This is one of the key political tasks of great significance, contributing to leading and directing the preparation of all aspects to enter the Party Congresses at all levels.
