On the afternoon of July 9, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - inspected and surveyed the Phu An Ward Public Administration Service Center. Also attending was Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Phu An ward was established from the merger of Tan An ward, Phu An commune and part of Hiep An ward (old), with an area of over 36.7 km2 and a population of nearly 54,000 people.
The Ward Public Administration Service Center is located at the headquarters of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Phu An Ward (headquarters of the old Hiep An Ward).

According to the report, from July 1 to now, the Center has received 414 applications and returned 378 results.
The reception and return of documents are carried out synchronously, ensuring progress in serving people and businesses. However, there are still some shortcomings in decentralizing file processing, some systems are not connected synchronously.
At the survey, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc discussed with the staff of the administrative procedure handling department about the process of receiving and handling documents for people after the merger of administrative units.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc also visited and discussed with people when coming to do administrative procedures at the Phu An Ward Public Administration Service Center about the advantages and difficulties after the merger of administrative units.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation also inspected and surveyed the old Binh Duong Public Administration Service Center (old) and the Binh Duong Smart Monitoring and Control Center (IOC).
Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc highly appreciated the proactive and decisive spirit in preparing to arrange and operate the commune-level government in a modern, streamlined direction, effectively serving the people. In particular, the operation of Public Administration Service Centers is focused on, ensuring smooth operation.

Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc requested localities to continue promoting the achieved results, ensuring that after the arrangement, administrative procedures must be resolved faster and better, thoroughly implementing the principle of administrative boundary separation.
The Chairman of the City People's Committee also requested the Department of Science and Technology to effectively exploit data from the IOC to serve the direction and operation of the city's leaders and serve people and businesses.
