Outstanding 5G network quality
Specifically, in July 2025, the download speed of Viettel's 5G network reached 483 Mbps, while the upload speed was 106 Mbps - the highest among network operators. Next is VNPT with 315 Mbps (downloaded) and 52 Mbps (uploaded), and MobiFone with 211 Mbps and 38 Mbps respectively.
Achieving outstanding 5G speed shows that Viettel not only has wide 5G coverage but also effectively optimizes network performance, bringing a fast and stable access experience to users in practice.
According to the nPERF coverage testing application, Viettel is currently also the network operator with the largest 5G coverage area in Vietnam, with more than 7,000 stations installed in all provinces and cities, becoming a typical "case study" on the speed of 5G deployment. This is the result of the infrastructure "paving" strategy, with the cumulative goal of reaching nearly 30,000 5G stations this year.
Leading the overall mobile network (4G and 5G)
Not only stands out in 5G, Viettel also maintains its leading position in data speed (4G and 5G). Specifically:
Viettel's download speed took the lead to 98 Mbps, while VNPT reached (72 Mbps) and MobiFone (57 Mbps).
Upload speed: Viettel reached 31 Mbps, VNPT (29 Mbps) and MobiFone (23 Mbps).
