Ho Chi Minh City prohibits cadres, civil servants and officials from going to the festival during working hours, and does not use public vehicles and state budgets for festival purposes.

On February 10, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a document to heads of departments, branches, sectors, organizations, the Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts about the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 09 of the Prime Minister on ensuring the implementation of a civilized, safe and economical lifestyle in festival activities after the Lunar New Year of At Ty and the Spring Festival 2025.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested units to thoroughly grasp cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers who strictly implement labor discipline, do not organize spring tourism, and wish Tet during office hours to avoid affecting their work.

In particular, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that absolute not going to the festival during working hours, not using public vehicles or the state budget for festive activities, except for the case of assigned tasks.

In addition, leaders of departments, branches, unions, People's Committees of districts, districts and Thu Duc City must not attend the festival without the assignment of competent authorities.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Tourism and related units to ensure that festival activities take place safely and economically, avoiding waste.

At the same time, strengthening the propaganda and raising the sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants, officials and party members in implementing the regulations on organization and participation in the festival.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City emphasized not to organize a rampant festival, not to take advantage of the festival to profit and organize superstitious activities that negatively affect society. At the same time, localities with large -scale festivals, attracting a large number of people participating in need of strict control, ensuring security, order and traffic safety.

The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to guide religious organizations and religious establishments to comply with legal regulations in festival activities. Religious and religious places need to ensure compliance with civilized lifestyles, preserving the cultural traditions of the nation and the good customs of the locality.

In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Police will strengthen the supervision, ensure security, fire and explosion prevention and prevent social evils at the festival places.
