The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document requesting state-owned enterprises and economic organizations under the city to urgently review recruitment needs, have specific documents notifying the number, requirements and locations to be recruited (if any), send to the Department of Home Affairs and related departments, branches and sectors, Thu Duc City People's Committee and districts.
This information will be compiled and forwarded to cadres, civil servants, public employees, non-professional workers and workers who need to continue working after leaving their positions in the administrative apparatus.
Specialized departments such as the Department of Finance, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Construction... are also assigned the task of informing economic organizations in their assigned fields to conduct a review and make a list of recruitment needs to send to the Department of Home Affairs for synthesis.
At the same time, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts are required to proactively inform, make a list of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers who do not continue to work but have a need to work at state-owned enterprises and economic organizations within the city, and send it to the Department of Home Affairs for synthesis and coordination.
The Department of Home Affairs is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to guide businesses and administrative agencies to calculate recruitment needs as well as job needs of workers on leave, thereby implementing appropriate connection and job introduction activities.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, up to now, 40 agencies and units have submitted proposals. After the appraisal process, the city has agreed on 1,218 cadres and civil servants who are eligible for early retirement or early retirement according to Decree 178/2024 and Decree 67/2025 of the Government.
