The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has just announced traffic organization adjustments at the Truong Chinh - Pham Van Bach intersection (Tan Son ward), to serve the construction of S10 station (Pham Van Bach station) belonging to Metro line No. 2 (Ben Thanh - Tham Luong).
From April 4, the median strip will be closed on Truong Chinh street at the Truong Chinh - Pham Van Bach intersection.

After closing the median strip, vehicles will move on alternative routes as follows:
Direction from Pham Van Bach street turning left to Cong Hoa:
Route 1: Pham Van Bach → turn right into Truong Chinh → U-turn at a new U-turn point about 200m from the Truong Chinh - Tay Thanh intersection (opposite Co.opmart Thang Loi supermarket, No. 02 Truong Chinh) → go to Cong Hoa.
Route 2: Pham Van Bach → turn right onto Truong Chinh → turn around at Truong Chinh - Tay Thanh intersection → go to Cong Hoa.
From Truong Chinh street, turn left onto Pham Van Bach:
Route 1: Truong Chinh → turn around at the new turning point (about 200m from Truong Chinh - Tay Thanh intersection) → Truong Chinh → Tran Thai Tong → Pham Van Bach.
Route 2: Truong Chinh → turn around at the intersection of Truong Chinh - Cong Hoa → Truong Chinh → Pham Van Bach.
Pham Van Bach station (S10) is one of 11 stations of Metro Line No. 2, including 10 underground stations and 1 elevated station.
Metro Line No. 2 has a total investment of more than 55,000 billion VND, officially started on January 15, 2026. The line is nearly 11.3 km long, of which more than 9 km is underground, the rest is an elevated section and access road to the depot.
The project passes through 14 wards, connecting the central area with the northwest districts, including: Ben Thanh, Ban Co, Xuan Hoa, Hoa Hung, Vuon Lai, Nhieu Loc, Tan Hoa, Tan Son Nhat, Bay Hien, Tan Binh, Tan Son, Tay Thanh, Tan Son Nhi and Dong Hung Thuan.
According to the plan, this metro line will be completed in 2030. When put into operation, the train can operate at a maximum speed of 80 - 110 km/h, with a transport capacity of about 14,400 passengers/hour/direction.
