People are satisfied with the robot's instructions and procedures "a few dozen minutes are enough"

In recent days, at the Thu Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center, the working atmosphere has been bustling. On July 4, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy went to do the paperwork and was surprised when she had just entered the door to be approached by a robot, invited water, provided a sample and led to the reception counter. So surprised! Unexpectedly, the procedures were so quick and modern. I arrived at 11am but only 45 minutes later I received the results" - Ms. Thuy shared.

According to Mr. Le Thuong Duy Lap - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, concurrently Director of the Thu Duc Ward Public Administration Service Center, there are currently 2 robots programmed to welcome, guide the get of the procedure and direct the checkpoints to the checkpoints. On average, the center receives nearly 200 applications per day, with a daily settlement rate of up to 90%.

In addition to robots, Thu Duc ward also equipped with two legal document searches and arranged 10 counters to receive documents, each with a computer for people to handle themselves. For those who are not used to using technology, the staff will guide them enthusiastically from the data entry stage to receiving the results. Not only Thu Duc, other wards such as Saigon are also effectively operating the new local government model. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tinh (Saigon Ward) came to update the business address information, saying that it only took a few minutes to complete the documents, thanks to available data and a dedicated support team.

Chairman of Saigon Ward People's Committee Vu Nguyen Quang Vinh said that in the first 4 days, the center received about 400 administrative records, of which 100 were submitted online. Most of the records were processed quickly, including records transferred from the old District 1.

Administrative boundaries - unlimited services

According to Ms. Vo Thi Trung Trinh - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, in the first week after the merger, the system received 60,277 administrative records, of which 17,744 were submitted online. 168 wards, communes and special zones have issued 782 documents and received more than 32,000 arrivals. Ho Chi Minh City has granted nearly 15,000 document management accounts and more than 10,000 accounts using the administrative procedure information system.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City is moving towards a " Administrative boundaryless" model from the end of 2025 - where people and businesses can submit documents from anywhere, including from abroad. "We must serve better, more modernly, more conveniently. People in Hanoi, Da Nang, Ca Mau or abroad can all submit their applications to Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Duoc thoroughly informed. To achieve this goal, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc requested wards, communes and special zones to review and select administrative headquarters locations in accordance with the planning, ensuring modern facilities and equipment. Headquarters that do not meet the requirements will be newly built or upgraded to synchronize throughout the city.
