Le Minh Xuan Bus Station is invested by the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center (under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction), with an area of about 14,000 m2 (1.4 ha), with a total investment of nearly 70 billion VND.
The station is built on land adjacent to Vo Huu Loi Street, opposite the Canh B Canal 4 Bridge, capable of receiving 51 buses at the same time.
The project is invested synchronously, including parking lot, internal roads, pick-up and drop-off areas and items serving operations and utilities for passengers such as management, operation, lounges, ticket sales areas, newsrooms, medical areas, toilets, along with electricity systems, water supply and drainage and fire prevention and fighting.
In the immediate period, the Public Transport Management Center will organize the connection of bus routes 22, 61 and 73 to operate at Le Minh Xuan wharf, in order to form a stable end point.
These routes currently use vehicles with a capacity of 40 - 55 seats, with about 38 vehicles operating per day, meeting the travel needs of people and workers in Le Minh Xuan Industrial Park as well as neighboring areas.
According to the Public Transport Management Center, in the coming time, the unit will continue to review and adjust the bus network, study and add connecting routes to Le Minh Xuan wharf, and gradually form a passenger transit point in the western area of the city. This is expected to contribute to improving the efficiency of exploitation and the quality of public passenger transport services.

After merging with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh City currently has 47 wharves serving public passenger transport by bus, including independent bus stations and wharves arranged to be integrated into the inter-provincial bus station.
Of which, the Ho Chi Minh City area (formerly) has 40 wharves with a total area of 38.373 hectares; the Binh Duong area (formerly) has 4 bus wharves with a total area of 2.8 hectares; the Ba Ria - Vung Tau area (formerly) has 3 bus wharves with a total area of 1.959 hectares.
Currently, the Public Transport Management Center is being assigned to manage and use 21 bus stations according to the plan to serve bus operations, including 19 existing bus stations and 2 new bus stations invested and put into operation in 2025.
Ho Chi Minh City currently has 176 bus routes, including 108 subsidized and non-subsidized routes, with 2,386 vehicles in operation.
With the current scale, the wharf system meets about 65% of the demand for vehicle parking.
