Long Truong Ward People's Committee (HCMC) has just announced a request for organizations, households and individuals with houses and land affected by the project to upgrade and expand Nguyen Duy Trinh street (section from Ring Road 2 to the road to Phu Huu Industrial Park) to contact the Ward People's Committee to provide relevant legal documents.
The collection of dossiers is to serve the investigation, review, and confirmation of the origin and legal status of houses and land to implement compensation, support and resettlement for the project.
Nguyen Duy Trinh Street is one of the important traffic axes connecting the East of Ho Chi Minh City with Phu Huu port, industrial parks and many crowded residential areas. The road currently has a large volume of trucks and containers circulating every day, putting great pressure on traffic infrastructure.
In particular, the section about 1.6 km long from Phu Huu roundabout (Belt Road 2) to the gate of Phu Huu Industrial Park has long been considered a "black spot" for traffic accidents.
Currently, the road surface is only about 7 m wide, while the number of trucks and containers is very large. At many times, vehicles going in the opposite direction almost occupy the entire road surface, causing motorbikes to weave through narrow gaps, posing a risk of accidents.

According to the approved plan, Nguyen Duy Trinh road (section from Ring Road 2 to Phu Huu Industrial Park) will be expanded to 30 m, more than 4 times the current status.
The total investment of the project is about 1,859 billion VND. Of which, compensation, support and resettlement costs account for more than 80% of the total capital, about 1,506 billion VND.
The project is expected to recover land from nearly 300 households to serve the expansion of the road.
According to the plan, compensation, support and resettlement work will be completed in 2026. The project will be started and constructed from the end of 2026 to the end of 2027.
The project is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2028.
When completed, the project is expected to eliminate traffic accident black spots on Nguyen Duy Trinh street, reduce congestion, improve trade connectivity with Phu Huu port and meet the increasing transportation demand in the East of Ho Chi Minh City.
