On February 6th, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Ho Chi Minh City Police announced a traffic adjustment plan on some roads in the city center area to serve activities to celebrate the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
46th City Spring Flower Festival
The festival takes place for 12 days, from February 10th to February 21st, at Tao Dan Park.
From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on February 10th (December 23rd of the year At Ty), temporarily suspend traffic on Truong Dinh street (section from Nguyen Du to Nguyen Thi Minh Khai) to serve the opening ceremony.
Alternative route: Truong Dinh - Nguyen Du - Cach Mang Thang Tam - continue to move in all directions.
Binh Ngo 2026 Tet Book Street Festival
Construction activities take place from February 3rd to 14th; the festival serves people from 5pm on February 15th to 10pm on February 22nd on the Le Loi street car lane.
Directions: People participating in traffic can travel into the mixed lane of Le Loi street or parallel and adjacent roads of Le Loi street such as Ham Nghi street, Le Thanh Ton street to avoid Le Loi street. Roads intersecting with Le Loi street including Pasteur street, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street, Phan Boi Chau street... are still circulating normally.
Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet Binh Ngo 2026
Service hours from 7:00 PM on February 15th to 9:00 PM on February 22nd. 2.
During the construction and clearance period, temporarily suspend traffic for all types of vehicles to turn around at the turnaround position on Nguyen Hue street adjacent to Ton Duc Thang street.
Throughout the service period, temporarily suspend the circulation of all types of vehicles on Nguyen Hue street (the entire Nguyen Hue street is converted into a pedestrian street).
From 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on February 13, temporarily suspend vehicles from circulating through the Le Loi + Nguyen Hue intersection to serve the Appraisal Council for the opening program.
From 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM on February 15; from 7:30 AM - 11:00 PM on February 16 - February 21 and from 7:30 AM - 9:00 PM on February 22, temporarily suspend vehicles from circulating on Nguyen Hue street.
The Traffic Police Department recommends that vehicle drivers when traveling through the area organizing Tet activities should reduce speed, comply with the instructions of functional forces and traffic signal systems; do not stop or park vehicles on the road or at intersections causing congestion.
Based on the actual situation, the traffic police force will flexibly adjust traffic diversion, minimizing the impact on people's lives and travel.
