In recent days, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police has continuously organized exams to grant car driving licenses to candidates at the Binh Duong Vocational Education Center - Driver's Exam (old Binh Duong area).
About 16,000 students in the old Binh Duong area, who have completed the course, are waiting to take the exam.
According to the leader of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, the reason why tens of thousands of students have completed the course but have not been tested is due to the transfer of testing work from the old Transport sector to the Police sector from March 1, leading to a temporary suspension to complete the procedures. In addition, from June 30, the testing center in the old Binh Duong area will have to issue a new license and renovate the stadium to comply with the new regulations.

To quickly relieve the number of students in backlog and ensure the rights of the people, the Traffic Police Department is launching a peak period of organizing the exam.
The police force has mobilized maximum resources, from officers to facilities, "working day and night", including Saturdays and Sundays to promptly meet demand, avoiding prolonged congestion.

According to the plan, during this peak period, the Traffic Police Department will establish 2 test councils per day, meeting nearly 1,000 students participating in the exam in the old Binh Duong province. It is expected that by the end of July 2025, the Traffic Police Department will completely resolve about 16,000 outstanding records.
