Through random sampling from the pig farm, the Department of Livestock and Animal Health of Gia Lai province sent tests at the Veterinary Department of Region V.
After that, the authorities tested by Realtime PCR but did not detect viruses contained in samples.
At the time of checking, all the breeding pigs of the breeding farm in Kon Thut commune were still healthy, without the disease.
Previously, Binh Phuoc Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department confirmed the discovery of an African swine outbreak at C.K.T pig farming facility, Dong Tien commune, Dong Phu district (Binh Phuoc).
According to the relevant exploitation information and papers, the breeding pigs of C.K.T are derived from the pig farm of Gia Lai Breeding Joint Stock Company, the address of Kon Thut commune, Mang Yang district.
C.K.T establishment imported more than 2,000 breeding pigs, then the pigs fell ill and died. The functional industry said that the African swine outbreak may appear at C.K.T facility exposed to the disease during long -distance transportation.
