On December 24, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the unit had just sent a document to Thanh Hoa Power Company, requesting coordination in supplying electricity to the camera system under the Project "Integration of cameras and application of artificial intelligence (AI)" in the province.

According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, based on the Decision of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on approving the investment policy for the Project "Integration of cameras and application of artificial intelligence (AI) to exploit camera data to serve the work of ensuring security, order, traffic safety and state management in various fields", the Provincial Police (investor) is currently organizing a survey and implementing detailed design for the project.
Based on the nature and needs of the project, the Provincial Police proposed that Thanh Hoa Power Company consider and agree on a power supply plan for camera installation locations in 12 wards and communes including: Hac Thanh, Quang Phu, Sam Son, Nam Sam Son, Bim Son, Nga Son, Hoang Hoa, Hoang Tien, Luu Ve, Tien Trang, Tinh Gia and Nghi Son.
The total number of locations expected to be installed is 693, with 1,201 cameras, with an average capacity of about 12 kWh/camera.
According to the expected list of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, Hac Thanh Ward is the locality with the largest number of installation points, with 121 locations. Next are Hoang Hoa commune with 119 locations; Nam Sam Son ward with 80 locations; Quang Phu ward with 75 locations and Sam Son ward with 67 locations.
