Regarding the implementation of planning and space renovation in the area east of Hoan Kiem Lake, the Hanoi People's Committee said that the total expected area for studying and implementing planning and investment projects to build squares and parks in the area east of Hoan Kiem Lake is about 2.14 hectares.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Hoan Kiem District, there are 47 real estate owners in the project implementation area, including 12 organizations, agencies, units and 35 households.
12 organizations, agencies and units that must be relocated include: Department of Culture and Sports, Hanoi Electricity Corporation, Vietnam Institute of Literature - Academy of Social Sciences, Hanoi Population Department, Hanoi Blind Association, State Treasury Transaction Office, Power Hotel, Northern Power Corporation, National Power Transmission Corporation (power Transmission Company No. 1), Headquarters of the City Citizen Reception Committee and two cooperatives currently specialized houses.
For the headquarters of the Department of Culture and Sports, the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance to study and propose in the direction of arranging the headquarters of the Department of Culture and Sports and the Department of Tourism as a joint agency at 38 Hai Ba Trung Street; propose to adjust the investment policy to increase the scale of the two agencies.
In the process of implementing investment in construction and renovation of the head office at 38 Hai Ba Trung Street, arrange temporary residence at the Vo Chi Cong Inter-related Area or the area near the headquarters of the City People's Committee.
For the headquarters of the Vietnam Institute of Literature - Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Hanoi Association of the Blind, Hanoi Population Department, Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Department of Finance to review the city's real estate fund to arrange for the above units.
For the headquarters of the City Citizen Reception Committee, the Department of Construction is studying the location at 102 Hai Ba Trung Street to arrange the working headquarters of the City Citizen Reception Committee.
Regarding the Hoan Kiem Power Company headquarters, the report and proposal of the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee on the arrangement at 13 Duong Thanh Street were agreed.
The State Treasury headquarters has decided to hand it over to the city because there is no longer a need to use it. The Department of Finance promptly advised the City People's Committee to receive the transfer of the above-mentioned real estate facility and assign it to the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee to carry out site clearance work.
For the headquarters of the National Power Transmission Corporation, Northern Power Corporation, Hanoi Power Corporation, Electricity Hotel, National Power System and Power Market Operating Company, the Department of Planning and Architecture was assigned to study and propose locations for new headquarters for units (in the headquarters area of the Corporations - Cau Giay New Urban Area).
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction, the Department of Finance, and the Office of the City People's Committee to work with the Hanoi Youth Union on the management and use of the Children's Palace (No. 36 - 38 Ly Thai To) to propose arrangement for temporary use units while waiting for relocation to the official location and a plan for long-term exploitation of the Children's Palace in the overall area.
