The mark of "super project"
The Vietnam Exhibition Center is located on a total area of over 900,000m2, notably the Kim Quy Exhibition Center with 9 lobbies and 1 main hall, with nearly 96,000m2 of exhibition space. Four outdoor exhibition yards with over 176,000m2 are dedicated to large-scale activities. In addition, the VinPalace Convention Center was built with 7 conference rooms and 3 large banquet rooms with a capacity of 1,500 seats. Static traffic infrastructure is invested in with 5 separate parking areas, with a capacity of nearly 3,000 cars, nearly 400 buses/ considerations and thousands of motorbikes.
Currently, the working atmosphere inside the Vietnam Exhibition Center is always bustling and urgent. Mr. Bui Nguyen Dan, a worker working here, shared: "We work 8 hours a day, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. The brothers were divided into many teams, each team was in charge of a separate area. Everyone understands the importance of the project, so everyone is highly focused, trying to complete the work as quickly and best as possible".
Not only the main items, but also the auxiliary stalls are being constructed day and night. Mr. Tran Quang Long, construction supervisor of a booth under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, said: "To ensure progress, we divided into 2 continuous shifts with about 30 workers.
Currently, the booth has reached about 70% of the work volume, the rough part is basically 90% complete. We are committed to handing over the land according to the plan."
Exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness"
The first and also the most important event marking the launch of the Vietnam Exhibition Center is the exhibition "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness", taking place from August 28 to September 5 chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Right at Kim Quy Exhibition House, the central hall with the theme "95 years of the Party flag on the road" will recreate the brilliant milestones under the leadership of the Party. The main hall with the theme "Vietnam - The Fatherland - The People" is a place to honor the beauty of Vietnamese culture, nature and people.
In the outdoor area, Dong yard will have the theme "river Youth Festival" with a folk festival atmosphere. The Western Stadium has the theme "Aspiration for the Sky" and "For a Green Future", displaying aircraft models, introducing cuisine of the three regions and clean energy solutions. In particular, the Southern yard with the theme "Guns and Border Guard" will be a place to display special weapons and equipment of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, demonstrating the strength of defending the Fatherland.
According to Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company (investor), in addition to the exhibition areas, a series of explosive cultural - artistic - entertainment events will take place continuously. Opening is the 8Wonder Moments of Wonder (23.8) Festival, gathering top international stars such as DJ Snake, The Kid Laroi. Next is the "Vietnam Me There" race (24.8) with the expectation of setting a record of 29,000 people wearing the red flag with a yellow star.
During the exhibition, a series of special art programs chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi City, and Hue City will be organized, along with important forums and seminars on artificial intelligence (AI), the role of data in the digital age... chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
