Recorded in some areas in Hung Yen province such as Pho Hien ward, Son Nam ward..., the weather will have light to moderate rain due to the influence of the circulation before storm No. 9 approaching the mainland.
Despite the humid weather and limited visibility, many people still move normally on the main roads. Activities of daily life, trading and transportation are still relatively stable, only slightly less than usual.
The authorities and urban management units have proactively deployed tree pruning work on many major streets to prevent the risk of fallen trees and broken branches in case of strong winds.

In Pho Hien ward, environmental workers and the civil defense force coordinated to clear the tree trunks and bushes along the road. Saws and specialized vehicles are mobilized to speed up progress, ensuring completion before the storm makes landfall.
In Son Nam ward, schools, administrative agencies and residential areas are also reviewed, signs, roofs are put up, and drainage systems are inspected.
Some households near low-lying areas are advised to closely monitor the development of storms and floods and prepare evacuation plans when necessary.

Notably, on the road near Doan Dao commune, the rain caused the road surface to slip, leading to a collision between a container truck at around 7am the same day. The collision did not cause serious human casualties but caused traffic congestion for nearly 2km for many hours.
Traffic police and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to direct traffic and relieve congestion.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, storm No. 9 may cause heavy to very heavy rain in the Northern Delta provinces in the next 24-48 hours, accompanied by strong gusts of wind.
Hung Yen is located in an affected area, with the risk of local flooding, traffic accidents and fallen trees that can still occur if proactive prevention is not taken.
Local authorities recommend that people limit going out when the weather is clearly bad, and at the same time monitor updates from authorities to respond promptly to the storm's developments.
