On the morning of November 28, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Phu commune held a visitation, memorial service and burial of 3 martyrs' remains at Mai Thuy Martyrs' Cemetery.
The remains of martyrs were surveyed and collected by Team 589, Political Department of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command in Chut But village, Kim Ngan commune.
In a solemn atmosphere, delegates offered incense, flowers and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. The sacrifice of the martyrs is the motivation for the local Party Committee and People to continue to unite and build their homeland to develop more and more.
Previously, from August 19 to now, Team 589 has searched and collected 3 martyrs' remains in Chut But village. The remains were found at a depth of about 1.2m, leaving intact signs of sack growth and many relics such as shoes, sandals, chess, soldier belts, wallets, wire and radio.
At the memorial service, the leaders of Truong Phu commune presented a document expressing their deep gratitude to the outstanding children who have fallen for the Fatherland. The commune government and people affirmed that they will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, preserve revolutionary traditions and take care of policy families.
After the memorial service, the remains of 3 martyrs were buried at Mai Thuy Martyrs' Cemetery, Truong Phu Commune.
