Having just made a strong impression when issuing a series of red books to people in just 1 month of operation, Huong Tra ward (Da Nang city) - home to the only "heritage road" of golden age in Vietnam - continued to set ambitious goals at the first Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The place to own a natural "treasure" in the heart of the city
Huong Tra ward is merged from 3 old communes and wards including: Hoa Huong, An Son, Tam Ngoc, famous for Huong Tra ecological village and a complex of more than 50 ancient yellow lemongrass trees (of which 9 trees are Vietnam Heritage Trees).
With more than 50 trees nearly and over 100 years old, including 12 ancient trees over 200 years old and 9 trees officially recognized as Vietnam Heritage Trees, this place is known as "the most beautiful heritage tree road in Da Nang". Every year, the Blossom Festival is also held here, attracting a large number of visitors and contributing to positioning the tourism brand for the locality.


In the period of 2020-2025, the ward's economy has developed well, especially the trade - service sector (growth of 11%/year), considered the economic spearhead thanks to tourism activities and the special Song Flower Festival.
With the combination of drastic actions, unique heritage and a new, aspirational leadership, Huong Tra ward is facing a strong opportunity to make a breakthrough, becoming a bright spot in the development of Da Nang city.

At the Congress held on July 30, Huong Tra Ward introduced the new Party Committee Secretary, Mr. Pham Hoang Duc (former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee, old Quang Nam).
The two Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee are Mr. Nguyen Ba and Mr. Tran Trung Hau (Chairman of the Ward People's Committee).

Promoting the spirit of " daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility" has been proven through the rapid issuance of red books, the ward sets a target for the next 5 years:
The economy grew the total product value by over 10.5%/year, average income per capita increased by over 7.5%/year.
The city upgraded and recognized 9 new civilized streets.
Administrative reform strives for 100% of work records to be resolved in the online environment.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Secretary of the Huong Tra Ward Party Committee Pham Hoang Duc pledged that the Executive Committee will maintain solidarity, promote the spirit of dynamism, creativity, closeness to the people, daring to think, daring to do and daring to take responsibility to lead and direct the successful implementation of the Congress's resolution.
