The last major package of the inter-regional road project "has an owner"
The Inter-regional Road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province - with a total adjusted investment of VND 2,120 billion, invested by the Department of Construction of Phu Tho province (formerly by the Department of Transport).
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, on May 20, the Phu Tho Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board (representative of the investor) issued a decision approving the results of contractor selection for Package No. 60: Construction of the project's extended road.
According to the approval decision, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited was the winning contractor for the above construction package with a price of nearly 97.6 billion VND, with a implementation period of 240 days.
According to the project documents, the contractor will construct a road longer than 3.7 km, designed according to the scale of a grade III plain road, with a design speed of 80 km/h. The starting point continues with the main route at Km0 intersecting with National Highway 32 at Km81+380 (road to Thanh Son district), the end point intersects with National Highway 32 at Km76+150 (near Tam Nong District Medical Center, only about 400 m from Phong Chau bridge).
Thus, all major packages of the Inter-regional Road project connecting Ho Chi Minh Road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province with a total investment of VND 2,120 billion have selected contractors.
Previously, a joint venture with another contractor, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited, was also the contractor who constructed the main route of the inter-regional road.
According to research, Tu Lap Construction Company Limited (abbreviated as Tu Lap Construction) is the second largest construction contractor in Phu Tho province. The company's headquarters is located at 3010 Hung Vuong Street, Van Phu Ward, Viet Tri City.
In the past 10 days (from May 10 to May 20), Tu Lap Construction has won many major bids, including a package of more than VND 1,200 billion (construction of the Km74+500-Km85+300 project of the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau Expressway project).
Currently, this contractor is also participating in Package No. 13: Construction and installation of works (estimated cost of nearly 340 billion VND) in the project: The route from Thuy Van Industrial Park to the road connecting Nguyen Tat Thanh - Ton Duc Thang road, Viet Tri city, but so far there have been no results.
