On the morning of March 19, at Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi City Police organized a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2026), the 70th anniversary of the tradition of the Hanoi City Police Youth Union (March 1956 – 2026) and commend "Outstanding and Typical Young Faces of the Capital Police in 2025". The activities took place practically, associated with the 950th anniversary of the founding of Quoc Tu Giam (1076 – 2026) - the first National School of Vietnam.
This is the opening event of a series of emulation activities to celebrate major holidays of the Youth Union organization in the Capital Police force, contributing to fostering revolutionary ideals, arousing pride and the sense of responsibility of youth in performing the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety.
Through the commendation program, the Organizing Committee recognizes and commends typical collectives and individuals in studying, training, work, and combat; thereby creating motivation for emulation, encouraging union members and youth throughout the force to continue striving, contributing and growing up.
Over 70 years of construction and development, generations of union members and youth of the Capital Police have always promoted the spirit of pioneering and creativity, ready to undertake difficult and complex tasks; actively participating in the fight against crime, ensuring social order and safety, administrative reform, digital transformation and serving the people.
The Hanoi City Police Youth Union has implemented many revolutionary action movements, practical youth projects and tasks; many models have been commended by the Central Youth Union and the Ministry of Public Security. At the same time, volunteer activities for the community and social security have been promoted, contributing to building the image of the brave, humane, and serving the people of the Capital Police soldiers.
Within the framework of the program, many meaningful activities were organized such as incense offering at the Thai Hoc house area; art program "Glory of the Ho Chi Minh generation"; traditional torch relay; documentary screening; launch of the digital transformation youth project "Golden Book" electronic book "Typical faces of the Capital Police in all periods"; photo exhibition "Proud of 70 years - Capital Police Youth follow tradition"; awarding commemorative symbols to generations of Youth Union officials; commending 10 typical young faces in 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Tung emphasized that in the context of the security and order situation posing many new requirements, the Capital Police force, especially union members and youth, need to constantly learn, train, and improve political bravery and professional qualifications; master science and technology, proactively adapt to digital transformation and international integration.
At the same time, it is necessary to focus on propaganda and political and ideological education, orienting revolutionary ideals for union members and youth; effectively implement emulation movements, focusing on the movement "Three Firsts: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People".
The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of Hanoi City Police request all levels of the Youth Union to continue to maintain political bravery, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; improve the spirit of responsibility, discipline, and order; build a scientific and professional working style; promote the pioneering role, and be ready to undertake difficult and new tasks. Along with that, union members and youth need to proactively study, master science and technology, promote digital transformation, and at the same time be close to the people, respect the people, and serve the people.
For the collectives and individuals commended, the leaders of Hanoi City Police proposed to continue to strive, train, and achieve more achievements; contributing to spreading the image of Hanoi Police youth in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization and international integration.
