On the afternoon of February 25, the People's Council of Hung Yen province, XVII term, 2021-2026, held the 37th session to consider and decide on some important contents under its authority.
At the Session, the Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council the submissions and draft resolutions on adjusting the planning of Hung Yen province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; approving the investment policy for the project to build a road from Pho Hien ward to Hung Ha commune.
These are major contents, with profound and long-term impacts, meeting the urgent requirements in the context of adjusting the development space after the merger; ensuring compliance with the National Overall Plan, the Red River Delta Regional Plan and related plans; and at the same time contributing to completing the transportation network, strengthening regional linkages, and expanding the urban and industrial development space of the province.
Based on the appraisal report of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the delegates discussed, highly agreed and voted to approve the Resolution adjusting the planning of Hung Yen province for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050; Resolution approving the investment policy for the project to build a road from Pho Hien ward to Hung Ha commune.
Speaking at the closing of the Session, Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized that the adjustment of the Provincial Planning has promptly updated changes in the administrative space and new development requirements, contributing to completing the legal basis, more clearly defining the socio-economic space structure, pillars and growth drivers in the new period.
The investment policy decision for the Pho Hien - Hung Ha road will gradually complete the synchronous traffic infrastructure system, improve connectivity capacity, and create room for socio-economic development.
To ensure that the resolutions soon come into life, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Provincial People's Committee to urgently concretize them with plans, roadmaps and implementation solutions suitable to reality; organize timely, strict, and effective implementation.
At the same time, continue to review planning to ensure clear boundaries, no overlap between sectoral plans; pay attention to synchronization in arranging land funds for industrial parks, industrial clusters, urban areas, transportation and defense - security land; strengthen publicity and transparency of information and monitor and evaluate the implementation process.
For the road project from Pho Hien ward to Hung Ha commune, the Provincial People's Committee is required to direct the full implementation of investment preparation steps, pay attention to capital allocation, site clearance, resettlement, ensure progress, quality and investment efficiency, and harmonize the interests of the State, businesses and people.
The committees of the Provincial People's Council, delegation groups and each delegate continue to promote their supervisory role, closely monitor the implementation of resolutions, and promptly reflect and handle arising issues according to their authority.
