On June 10, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security - had a working session with Tuyen Quang Provincial Police. Also attending was Mr. Hau A Lenh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.
At the meeting, Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan - Director of Tuyen Quang Provincial Police - reported on the situation and results of work in the first 5 months of 2026 and key tasks for the last months of the year.
Accordingly, the security and order situation in the area was maintained, no "hot spots" arose; security and safety of important political events were ensured.
The number of crimes against social order decreased by 10.83%; traffic accidents decreased in all 3 criteria compared to the same period in 2025.
Tuyen Quang Provincial Police have completed and exceeded 58/79 work targets assigned by the Ministry of Public Security for 2026, reaching a rate of 73.41%; and at the same time continue to implement the remaining 21 targets.
The work of organizing the apparatus and deploying the two-level local government model in the Police force was carried out seriously, ensuring smoothness and not interrupting tasks.
In the last months of 2026, Tuyen Quang Provincial Police will continue to proactively forecast the situation and advise on effectively resolving security and order issues.
The unit strives to exceed the work targets, including reducing 10% of social order crimes compared to 2025 and completing the goal of building 40% of communes and wards without drugs.
Speaking at the working session, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh requested the Provincial Police force to continue to promote the achieved results; drastically, synchronously and effectively implement Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW of the Politburo and projects of the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial Police on building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Police force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Mr. Hau A Lenh also requested the Ministry of Public Security to continue to pay attention to reviewing and supplementing personnel, vehicles and technical equipment for the Provincial Police, especially in mountainous and border communes with large areas and difficult traffic, in order to well meet the task requirements of the grassroots police force.
Recognizing and praising the results achieved in the first 5 months of the year, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested Tuyen Quang Provincial Police to continue to promote their exemplary role, taking the lead in all fields of work; promote digital transformation, administrative reform, mass mobilization work, Party building and emulation movements in the locality.
Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested officers and soldiers to be close to the grassroots, close to the people, understand the people, and rely on the people to effectively implement the task of ensuring security and order. At the same time, strengthen coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations in mobilizing the masses to participate in the all-people movement to protect national security.
