Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee Hoang Viet Phuong affirmed that the locality will focus on overcoming difficulties to implement the goals set out in the digital infrastructure and digital economy strategy to 2025, with a vision to 2030.
At the same time, prioritize the completion of digital infrastructure to serve digital transformation, meeting practical requirements. Promote communication, innovation and digital application for economic development.
"Tuyen Quang hopes to continue receiving attention and support from the Ministry of Information and Communications, units providing digital platforms, digital applications, and digital solutions so that the province can make a breakthrough in digital transformation as well as achieve the set goals," the Vice Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee emphasized.
At the workshop, delegates analyzed and shared innovative models in the process of strengthening digital infrastructure and innovating digital applications; evaluated the achieved results and found out the causes of difficulties and limitations in the current digital transformation process.
In Tuyen Quang, digital transformation is always a top priority. By 2022, this local digital transformation will rank 48th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 10 places compared to 2021.
According to data from the General Statistics Office, the estimated growth rate of the digital economy in the GRDP of Tuyen Quang province in 2023 is 6.19% (an increase of 0.17% compared to 2022, an increase of 0.35% compared to 2021).
Tuyen Quang sets a target that by 2025, the digital economy will account for about 20% and by 2030, the digital economy will account for about 30% of GRDP. Strive to be one of the fairly ranked provinces by 2025, and by 2030, to be in the leading group of the Northern mountainous region.
