On July 25, a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, Deputy Minister of Public Security, came to offer flowers and incense at red addresses in Quang Tri province.
The delegation visited Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery and the special national relic Quang Tri Ancient Citadel to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs.
The delegation included representatives of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security Office, the Department of Organization and Personnel, the Department of Political Work, the Department of Communications of the People's Police; representatives of the Board of Directors of the Police of Da Nang, Hue, Ha Tinh, and Nghe An provinces and cities.



Also participating were the Board of Directors of Quang Tri Provincial Police, leaders of functional departments and police of communes and wards in the province.
In a solemn atmosphere, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and members of the delegation offered flowers, incense, observed a minute of silence and expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of heroic martyrs for the cause of national liberation, national reunification and national defense.
Before the spirits of the heroic martyrs, the People's Police force vows to continue to promote revolutionary traditions, unite, and strive to complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.

After the incense offering ceremony, the Ministry of Public Security working delegation organized a meeting and presented gifts of gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families in particularly difficult circumstances in Quang Tri province.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung visited and inquired about the health and life and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Thi, 106 years old; Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Lien, 96 years old; representatives of the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Then and representatives of the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Mung.
The delegation also presented gifts to Ms. Le Thi Van - former officer of Quang Tri Town Police, wife of martyr of People's Police Nguyen Cao Tien.
The activity shows the concern of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Thereby, contributing to educating the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree", reminding officers and soldiers of the People's Police to continue to train, cultivate and complete assigned tasks.
