On December 10, the Hon Chong Port Border Guard Station (An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command) said that the border guards had just rescued two fishermen in distress on a burning fishing boat.
At about 8:30 a.m. this morning (December 10), in the sea area of Bai Gieng hamlet, Kien Luong commune, An Giang province, a AG-90331-TS trawler caught fire.
The ship was captained by Mr. Trieu Hoang An, born in 1980, residing in Rach Gia ward, An Giang. At the time of the incident, there were 2 people on the vehicle, Mr. Tran Van Liet (born in 1973, permanent resident of An Minh, An Giang) and Mr. Tran Van Quang (born in 1977, permanent resident of Rach Gia ward, An Giang).

Following the direction of the Border Guard Station of Hon Chong Port, the Border Guard Station of Hon Chong Port coordinated with the Border Control Station of Binh An (5 comrades), mobilized people's vehicles and quickly approached the rescue station to bring the 2 fishermen to shore safely.
Currently, the health of both people is stable, and property damage has not been determined.
