On March 28, the leader of Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police) said that a traffic accident had just occurred between a 16-seat car and a motorbike on National Highway 1 through An Nhon town, killing 1 person.
According to initial information, at 5:30 a.m. the same day, passenger bus 77F-002.29 driven by driver Tran Tuan Anh (born in 1998, residing in Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh) was traveling in the North - South direction.
When reaching Km1211+300 on National Highway 1, passing through Binh Dinh Ward (An Nhon Town), it collided with a motorbike 77H5-8231 driven by Mr. Le Lam Tong (born in 2015, residing in Gia Lai Province), carrying his wife, Ms. Le Thi Bay (born in 1951).
As a result, Mrs. Bay died on the spot, and Mr. Tong was injured. Both vehicles were damaged.
At the scene, Mr. Tong and his wife's motorbike had a homemade hook attached at the back to transport fruit to the market for sale.
Upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated to take the injured to the emergency room and investigate the cause of the accident.
