On October 6, Nam Nha Trang Ward Police said that this agency is coordinating with related units to investigate and clarify the cause of the traffic accident in the area that killed one person.
Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on October 6, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Avenue, at the intersection with Dang Thai Mai Street, Nam Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, a truck with license plate 78C-133. XX, driven by Mr. Le Van Chinh (born in 1987, residing in Nghe An province), while traveling towards Binh Tan bridge, collided with a Grab motorbike with license plate 79L2-91XX, driven by Mr. Vo Ngoc Tho (born in 1960, residing in Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa), carrying a male passenger of unknown identity.
The collision caused Mr. Tho to be thrown to the right side of the road, the male passenger sitting behind the motorbike was dragged under the truck.
Both victims were taken to the Khanh Hoa General Hospital for emergency treatment by local residents and authorities. However, the male passenger suffered multiple injuries from being caught under a truck and died at Khanh Hoa General Hospital. Mr. Vo Ngoc Tho was taken to Tam Tri Hospital for emergency treatment.
Recorded at the scene, the Grab driver was driving a motorbike carrying a passenger onto the road when the accident occurred.
