Speaking at the program, Mr. Dao Quang Thien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee - said that the circulation of storm No. 3 caused prolonged heavy rain in the mountainous districts of Nghe An. As a result, thousands of houses were deeply flooded, roofs were blown off, and collapsed; many areas of crops and seafood were lost; roads were seriously eroded, and many villages were isolated. The lives of people in flooded areas are very difficult, requiring the cooperation of the whole community.
At the launching ceremony, cadres, civil servants and employees in the agency directly donated. The entire amount will be transferred to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Relief Committee to promptly support people affected by natural disasters.
