According to rumors, a illegal stone mining tunnel was discovered
In recent days, people in Bao Lam 2 commune have been sharing stories about a illegal stone mining tunnel operating openly in the middle of a coffee plantation, only a few hundred meters from the residential area. Although not licensed, this activity still occurs widely, without being controlled or detected by anyone.
From the people's source, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters were present in Bao Lam 2 commune to verify. It took a long time for the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper to ask for the clues and find the stone mining area.
Approaching the scene, a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper discovered a large-scale illegal stone quarry, thousands of square meters wide, lying in a coffee plantation. It is worth mentioning that this illegal stone quarry is located just a few hundred steps away from Thanh Binh village residential area.

Although hidden deep in the coffee plantation, the road to the stone quarry is only a few hundred meters from the inter-village road. Recorded at the scene, hundreds of cubic meters of stone were cracked and piled up in large piles.
In addition, thousands of cubic meters of monolithic stone have been excavated, ready for the small cracking process. Many temporary tents have been set up right next to the durian garden to serve the daily life of the exploiters.
Some hammocks are still hanging in the middle of the garden, showing that activities here take place regularly. Notably, the power lines and switches extended from the fields to the stone mining area, suspected of being used to detonate stone-breaking mines.
The road leading to the scene is covered with large wheel spans. This shows that mechanical vehicles often came in and out to transport rocks away from the scene.

Illegal stone quarry reveal
Through investigation, the owner of the land where the stone mining activities are taking place belongs to Mr. Nguyen Van Ky (residing in Thanh Binh village, Bao Lam 1 commune, Lam Dong province).
Recently, Mr. Ky collaborated with a man named Hiep (residing in the same commune) to carry out illegal stone mining activities. Accordingly, Mr. Hiep was assigned to hire someone to mine stone and sell, then share it with Mr. Ky. Each gravel is sold for 2,800 to 3,000 VND/ gravel, right in the mining tunnel.
People living near the stone quarry area said that 8 to 10 people participate in mining and cracking stone every day. Mr. Hiep will pay the hired stone slashers based on the amount of finished stone they slash each day.
In addition, there was a large excavator hidden secretly in a durian garden next to the illegal stone quarry.
Regarding this incident, the authorities of Bao Lam 2 commune said that the unit had inspected and made a record of the illegal stone mining scene here.
In addition to the large-scale stone tunnel mentioned above, Lao Dong Newspaper reporters also recorded that in the Sim Hill area (Dong La 2 village, Bao Lam 2 commune), there are 2 other da mining sites.
These stone quarry sites are also being piled up in large piles at the site that have not yet been transported for consumption.
According to the investigation, the two illegal stone mining sites at Sim Hill (Dong La 2 village) were owned by a man and hired by a miner.
