Environmental violations, a company in Ninh Binh fined 320 million VND

Ninh Binh - Si Yuan Tech Co., Ltd. has just been fined 320 million VND by Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee for violating environmental protection regulations.

The project "Electronic component manufacturing plant" of Si Yuan Tech Co., Ltd. (belonging to Chau Son Industrial Park, Chau Son ward, Ninh Binh province) has been approved by the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Ha Nam province (now the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of Ninh Binh province) for the environmental impact assessment report in Decision No. 29/QD-BQLKCN dated January 28, 2022. However, Si Yuan Tech Co., Ltd. has put into operation but does not have an environmental permit.

According to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 39 and Point c, Clause 3, Article 41 of the Law on Environmental Protection No. 72/2020/QH14 amended and supplemented in Clause 11, Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of 15 Laws in the field of agriculture and environment, the project "Electronic component manufacturing plant" of Si Yuan Tech Co., Ltd. is subject to environmental permits under the licensing authority of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee according to regulations.

Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to sanction administrative violations with a total amount of 320 million VND for Si Yuan Tech Co., Ltd. At the same time, suspended the operation of the waste source without an environmental permit of the "Electronic component manufacturing plant" facility for 135 days.
