The Globe Ha Long Forest Park project is one of 26 projects in Quang Ninh that started construction on December 19, 2025, along with hundreds of other projects nationwide.
The Forest Park project is about 620 hectares wide, located in Tuan Chau ward and Viet Hung ward, located at the gateway to the old Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.
The project has a total investment of VND 5,380 billion, invested by Vingroup.
The park is expected to include 4 sub-areas, of which Area 1 is a family theme park of about 111 hectares, including many functions such as a culinary tourist center, apricot flower forest, BBQ area, kitchens release area, camping area...
Area 2 is over 82 hectares wide, oriented to develop a sports theme park with some amenities such as a square, culinary sports center, yoga area, golf course...
Area 3 has a scale of nearly 277 hectares, expected to have a bird conservation area, fishing floors, forest trekking paths, and squares.
Area 4 is a public park, a spacious area with an area of over 147 hectares, including a spacious center, a boat club, a meditation floor...
It is expected that the park will be put into operation from the second quarter of 2027.
Globe Ha Long Forest Park is adjacent to key traffic routes such as: Ha Long - Van Don Expressway, National Highway 18 and Yen Vien - Pha Lai - Ha Long - Cai Lan national railway line. This area is opposite Ha Long Bay, about 6 km from Tuan Chau Island, and is adjacent to Ha Long Xanh Complex Urban Area - the largest urban area in the country, with a total investment of more than 18 billion USD.
In particular, the final station of the Hanoi - Quang Ninh high-speed railway line is expected to be located in the Globe Ha Long Forest Park area.
The Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway project has a design speed of up to 350 km/h for the main route.
According to the proposal of VINSPEED High-speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, the Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway line has a starting point at the National Exhibition Center (Co Loa), Dong Anh commune, Hanoi; the end point is at Forest Park, Tuan Chau ward, Viet Hung ward, Quang Ninh province (opposite Vinhomes Ha Long Xanh Urban Area).
The project implements new investment in a 120 km long passenger railway, a 1,435 mm double track, and electrification. The designed speed of the main route is 350 km/h; the section through Hanoi has a design speed of 120 km/h. In the Pre-Feasibility Study Report, VINSPEED proposed that the Hanoi - Quang Ninh Railway Project have a total investment of about 5.54 billion USD.
