Phu Dong commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the communes of Yen Thuong, Yen Vien, Thien Duc, Ninh Hiep, Phu Dong and Yen Vien town (belonging to Gia Lam district); most of the natural area and population of Co Bi and Dang Xa communes (belonging to Gia Lam district).
It is expected to use the current headquarters of the People's Council, People's Committee and Party Committee of Thien Duc commune as the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the new Phu Dong commune.
Bat Trang commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the communes: Kim Duc (belonging to Gia Lam district); most of the natural area and population of the communes: Bat Trang, Da Ton (belonging to Gia Lam district); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Cu Khoi, Thach Ban (belonging to Long Bien district); Kieu Ky, Trau Quy town (belonging to Gia Lam district).
It is expected to use the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Da Ton Commune now as the headquarters of the Party Committee, Fatherland Front and new socio -political organizations of Bat Trang. Using the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Bat Trang commune is now the headquarters of the People's Council - People's Committee of Bat Trang Commune.
Thuan An commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of the communes of Duong Quang and Le Chi (belonging to Gia Lam district); most of the natural area and population of the communes of Phu Son, Dang Xa, and Co Bi (belonging to Gia Lam district).
It is expected to use the current Phu Son commune headquarters as the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the new Thuan An commune.
Gia Lam commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Duong Xa commune (belonging to Gia Lam district); most of the natural area and population of the communes: Trau Quy town, Co Bi, Kieu Ky (belonging to Gia Lam district); part of the natural area and population of Thach Ban ward (belonging to Long Bien district); communes: Dang Xa, Phu Son, Da capital, Bat Trang (belonging to Gia Lam district).
It is expected to use the current headquarters of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee of the district as the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the new Gia Lam commune.
