Mr. Luong Quang Tuan - Deputy Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam Trade Union Printing Joint Stock Company: It is necessary to pay special attention to launching emulation movements for workers and laborers to promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve skills, research and apply science and technology in production, as well as Trade Union activities.
According to Mr. Luong Quang Tuan, in the 2020-2025 term, despite many difficulties in the international and domestic context, especially the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic and political fluctuations, the Party Committee of the General Confederation clearly demonstrated its core leadership role, solidarity, proactiveness and achieved many important results. The Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor has focused on leading and directing the resolution of difficulties and problems to adapt to the new organizational model. Many issues arising from the grassroots, during the operation of the new model, have been compiled, studied and promptly recommended for resolution according to their authority.
At the same time, the Party Committee also directed the consolidation, review, arrangement and consolidation of economic units and affiliated public service units to improve operational efficiency, successfully complete targets, contributing to building an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, better serving union members and workers. He said that he was very impressed with major movements such as "1 million initiatives", "75,000 initiatives to overcome difficulties, develop", or practical care programs such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", "Union Shelter"...
Entering the 2025-2030 term, he hopes that the Party Committee will continue to uphold the Party's leadership principle, especially the principle of democratic centralism, linking Party building work with the practical implementation of political tasks, a key factor to improve the fighting strength and operational efficiency of the Party organization.
He hoped that the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor would continue to promote the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. In particular, it is necessary to pay special attention to research and application of science and technology in production and trade union activities; promote innovation and digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo. At the same time, strongly launch emulation movements for workers and laborers to promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve skills, and meet the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
In the atmosphere of the solemn, united, democratic, innovative and creative Congress, taking place at a time of special significance, when the whole country celebrates the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day on September 2 and prepares to enter the 14th National Party Congress - he clearly felt the excitement, responsibility and great confidence from all delegates. This is not only an opportunity to summarize a term with many impressions, but also a starting point for a new period, a period of realizing strategic goals by 2030, making Vietnam a developing country with modern industry and high average income.
Mr. Tuan believes that, with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development", the Congress will open a new phase, contributing to building the Vietnam Trade Union to be increasingly strong, a modern and strong working class, worthy of the trust of the Party and the expectations of the working people.

In the new term, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan hopes that the Party Committee will continue to lead trade unions at all levels to comprehensively and practically implement effective programs and models such as: "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ket Ket", "Worker's Month", "Union Shelter", "Union Market", support union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those who have had work accidents, serious illnesses, or unemployment... Caring for housing for workers continues to be a priority content, associated with promoting the construction and development of trade union institutions in industrial parks and export processing zones.
Along with that, the leaders of the Trade Union organization actively coordinate with ministries and branches to participate in developing laws and policies directly related to workers, focusing on laws related to workers' rights. At the same time, strengthen social criticism, supervise policy implementation at the grassroots level, recommend improving policies on minimum wages, working hours, rest, quality of shift meals, working conditions, etc.
In addition, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan also hopes that the Party Committee will continue to lead trade unions at all levels to strengthen the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, promote dialogue at the workplace, improve the quality of negotiation, signing and implementation of collective labor agreements, ensuring more and more beneficial agreements for workers...

Over the past 20 years, I have attended the Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor many times, but the sense of pride remains the same as the first time I attended. In particular, the 1st Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025-2030, took place during a period when the whole country was bustling with activities to celebrate major holidays, I felt even more proud and moved, Ms. Huyen shared.
Ms. Huyen said that currently, the lives and jobs of officers and staff of the General Confederation Guest House are stable. In the context of personnel cuts and economic fluctuations, workers are increasingly appreciating this stability and trusting in the leadership of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Party Committee of the agency.
Appreciating the achievements of the 2020-2025 term of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Huyen hopes that in the new term, the Party Committee will continue to have many good policies for workers. In particular, meaningful and humane programs such as union meals, union shelters, etc. are being promoted more widely.
