Among them, there is the case of Mr. C.T.S's illegally built villa in Gia An commune, Tanh Linh district, Binh Thuan province, which has not yet been demolished. At the conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Toan - Economic - Infrastructure Department, Tanh Linh District People's Committee, representing Tanh Linh District People's Committee, provided information about the case.

Tanh Linh District People's Committee issued Decision No. 120/QD-CCXP dated August 26, 2024 to enforce the implementation of remedial measures and has notified the homeowner to voluntarily dismantle the violating construction, which must be completed by October 20, 2024.

According to the representative of the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district, through propaganda and mobilization, Mr. C.T.S is voluntarily carrying out the demolition in stages. Up to now, the top part of the project is being dismantled and demolished. However, the demolition is taking place slower than the initial commitment.

The reason given by this locality is that "through work, Mr. C.T.S stated that the demolition of the project was due to the rainy and stormy season and the impact of Typhoon Yagi. Furthermore, the project is of great height and requires a lot of time to complete. His family is looking for a construction unit specializing in dismantling projects to contract for the demolition to ensure safety during the dismantling process and strictly implement the decision to enforce the remediation of the consequences of the District People's Committee, so the progress is slower than required and needs more time to complete."

Due to the above objective difficulties, the People's Committee of Tanh Linh district issued an official dispatch dated October 31, 2024 regarding the delay in handling the administrative violation records of Mr. C.T.S residing in Hamlet 1, Gia An Commune, Tanh Linh District until May 10, 2025 to report to the Department of Construction. After this period, if Mr. C.T.S does not complete the self-dismantling of the violating construction, the construction will be forcibly demolished according to regulations.
