Vietjet still maintains Dien Bien - Ho Chi Minh City route

    On the afternoon of February 5, Mr. Le Thanh Binh - Chief of Office of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee said that Vietjet Air still maintains the Dien Bien - Ho Chi Minh City flight route.

    "After the working session this morning (February 5) between the leaders of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee and the leaders of Vietjet Air, the two sides agreed to continue maintaining flights from Dien Bien to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa" - Chief of Office of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee.

    Previously, on February 1, Vietjet Air representative in Dien Bien sent a notice to relevant units about suspending flights from February 12, 2025. After that, many customers thought that this was a sign that Vietjet Air would completely stop operating flights from Dien Bien Airport to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa.

    On the afternoon of February 5, talking to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters about this content, Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Vietjet Air representative in Dien Bien said: "The content of our announcement is only to temporarily suspend flights from February 12, 2025 until further notice. We will announce later the specific flight operation plan."
