National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued Resolution No. 1287/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Vinh Phuc province for the 2023-2025 period.
The National Assembly Standing Committee resolved to establish four new communes in Vinh Tuong district, including Sao Dai Viet, An Nhan, Luong Dien, and Vinh Phu. To establish Hoi Thinh commune in Tam Duong district. At the same time, to establish Hai Ba Trung ward in Phuc Yen city.
The Resolution clearly shows that Hai Ba Trung ward was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 0.90 km2, population of 12,264 people of Trung Trac ward and the entire natural area of 1.80 km2, population of 8,892 people of Trung Nhi ward.
After its establishment, Hai Ba Trung ward had a natural area of 2.70 km2 and a population of 21,156 people.
Hai Ba Trung Ward borders Hung Vuong, Nam Viem, Phuc Thang and Tien Chau wards.
Establish Sao Dai Viet commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 2.80 km2, population of 5,054 people of Viet Xuan commune, the entire natural area of 2.60 km2, population of 4,054 people of Bo Sao commune and the entire natural area of 5.90 km2, population of 6,300 people of Cao Dai commune.
After its establishment, Sao Dai Viet commune had a natural area of 11.30 km2 and a population of 15,408 people.
Sao Dai Viet commune borders Lung Hoa, Tan Phu, Yen Lap communes; Lap Thach district; Phu Tho province and Hanoi city.
Establish An Nhan commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 2.90 km2, population of 6,272 people of Ly Nhan commune and the entire natural area of 5.40 km2, population of 10,820 people of An Tuong commune.
After its establishment, An Nhan commune had a natural area of 8.30 km2 and a population of 17,092 people.
An Nhan commune borders Tan Phu, Thuong Trung, Tuan Chinh, Vinh Thinh communes and Hanoi city.
Establish Luong Dien commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 3.30 km2, population of 6,652 people of Van Xuan commune and the entire natural area of 7.60 km2, population of 15,783 people of Binh Duong commune.
After its establishment, Luong Dien commune had a natural area of 10.90 km2 and a population of 22,435 people.
Luong Dien commune borders Dai Dong commune, Vu Di commune, Tho Tang town, Tu Trung town and Yen Lac district.
Establish Vinh Phu commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 4.70 km2, population of 5,352 people of Vinh Ninh commune and the entire natural area of 6.40 km2, population of 6,431 people of Phu Da commune.
After its establishment, Vinh Phu commune had a natural area of 11.10 km2 and a population of 11,783 people.
Vinh Phu commune borders Ngu Kien commune, Vinh Thinh commune, Tu Trung town, Vinh Tuong town; Yen Lac district and Hanoi city.
Establish Hoi Thinh commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area of 4.00 km2, population of 6,914 people of Van Hoi commune and the entire natural area of 4.40 km2, population of 8,566 people of Hop Thinh commune.
After its establishment, Hoi Thinh commune had a natural area of 8.40 km2 and a population of 15,480 people.
Hoi Thinh commune borders Duy Phien commune; Vinh Tuong district, Yen Lac district and Vinh Yen city.
This Resolution comes into force from January 1, 2025.
